1. General
On the occasion of the celebration in Madrid of the nine edition of the Dive Travel Show Event, an exhibition of photography (hereinafter "the Exhibition") will be held. To select photos that will participate in the exhibition, a photo contest will be convened (hereinafter, "the Contest").
The theme of the contest is "Underwater and Underwater Photography".
The Photo Exhibition Dive Travel Show will be held in the booth called Expofoto in the map of exhibitors from the page Dive Travel Show (http://divetravelshow.com/mapa-y-empresas-participantes)
2. Participation
The competition may participate anyone over 18 years. Employees of the Organization, Partners and Sponsors may participate in the Competition and Exhibition but are not eligible for prizes.

4. Agreement to Official Rules
Entry in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance by the participant of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Organization, which are final and binding, both in terms of the competition and exposure. The winners of the competition must comply with the conditions and requirements set forth herein.
Any situation not covered by these rules shall be resolved unilaterally by the Organization.
5. Duration of Contest
The enrollment phase Competition begins on 22/12/2016 and end on 14/02/2017 23:59, Madrid time, hereafter called the "Contest Period" The entries made before or after these dates will not participate in the contest .
Upon completion of the Contest Period will begin the voting period beginning on 05/02/2017 and will run until % contest_poll_end%, Madrid time, hereafter called the "Voting Period"
Photographic Exhibition Dive Travel Show will be held on 4 and 5 March 2017, at booth named "Expofoto Buceo Ibérico" and will be open on those days at the times the Dive Travel Show organization determine as opening hours.
6. Registration and How to Enter
There will be 3 types of entries in the contest:
- Admission free: Give choice to submit three photographs and be elegible to the prizes and raffles of the contest and exhibition.
- € 7: In addition to the included in the free registration, if one of the pictures of participants qualify for the exposure phase, participants can pick it up at the end of the exhibition and take it home.
- € 15: In addition to the included in the free registration, if one of the pictures of participants qualify for the exposure phase, will be sent home at the end of the exhibition (only Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, to other destinations please consult us).
You can enter the competition as follows:
Email: To enter the competition you need to send a maximum of three (3) photographs without any text or signature, and have not been awarded previously in another contest of photography, to the mail account: expofotografia.dts@gmail.com, with a minimum size of 3000 pixels long side, in JPG format, indicating in the mail your name, birth date and the name or nickname that you want that are signed in the exhibition should be selected.
Participation is limited to one (1) entry per person with a maximum of three (3) photographs throughout the Contest Period. Repeated entries will be void.
The digital retouching is allowed, provided it is limited to the basics of photo retouching: Cuts, enlightened or obscured, and contrast. Not allowed eliminating or incorporating internal and external elements of the original composition.
The Organization may request the original RAW participants if there is any doubt or dispute in the previous point. The Organization may exercise their right of veto on any photo that could be considered offensive or distasteful or that do not fit the theme of the contest.
Each participant must hold all intellectual property rights in this photograph.
7. Selection of photographs for the exhibition.
If more than 100 photographs are presented during the inscription of the competition, will proceed to the vote for which will be exhibited.
All photographs submitted during the Contest inscription will be presented during the voting period in the Buceo Ibérico website. A reduced version of the photographs of 800 pixels long side, without any text or signature, without indicating its author and referred by a number only will be exposed.
Once exposed, registered users by their e-mail, may vote in a form of Buceo Ibérico, naming the twenty (22) photographs for their criteria deserve to be in the exhibition. Answers to vote more or less than twenty (22) photographs will not be counted when the count is made.
Any anomaly detected by the Organization in the ratings, as duplicate voting or some other type of fraudulent operation will lead to the elimination of voting.
Upon completion of the voting period, the most voted photo of each participant, ordered by number of votes received will be selected.
If the number of selected photos so far is less than one hundred (100), the second most voted photo of each participant, ordered by number of votes received, will be selected until reach one hundred (100) selected photos or until the second photographs of the participants are exhausted.
If the number of selected photos so far is less than one hundred (100), the third most voted photo of each participant, ordered by number of votes received would be selected.
In case of a tie, the total sum of votes of all 3 pictures participant count.
In addition, they will advance to the final phase 3 photos with most votes that best represent the theme of each category.
8. Prizes:
Between the Participating photographs in the exhibition, the following prizes are awarded:
- First Place: A place on a Maldives live aboard: Submaldives Southern Cross + An Olympus TG-870 camera + Dive Package *
- Second Place: Dive Package * + Equipment Pack Kanau**
- Third Place: Dive Package *
The First Place will choose between the 3 options, then the Second Place will choose between the 2 options remaining, and then the Third Place:
- 3 Dive days Package (3 dives max per day) with Bohol Divers Club Dive Center in Panglao Island, Bohol, Filipinas
- 4 dives Package, full equipment rental included with Lanzarote Buceo
- 3 dives, Package, full equipment rental with Ocean Friends Tenerife
** Equipment Pack Kanau
It will consist of a 100 € coupon to spend in Kanau, with an expiration of one year from the date of contest.
There will be a special citation and trophy to the picture that best represents each of the following categories:
- Trophy Kanau - Macro Underwater Photography
- Trophy Dive Travel Show - Underwater Kiss
Among all the participants in the competition the following items were drawn:
- Five 1 Dive pack in Divers Cabo de Palos Dive Center will be raffled, one by winner

9. Jury and Selection of Winners Photos
The jury will be composed of the organizers, partners and sponsors of the exhibition. Each entity will vote three photos, at its discretion, with 3 points for the best, 2 for second and 1 for third.
- First Place: The photo with the most votes.
- Second Place: The second picture with the most votes.
- Third Place: The third picture with the most votes.
In case of a tie, the vote of the participant in the selection phase for the Exhibition will be counted.
The awards will be communicated by the organization to the winners via email and will be delivered in an Awards Ceremony during the Dive Travel Show.
Winning photos printed will become the property of the Organization, not their rights, and may be used for the promotion and dissemination of the Competition and Exhibition.
10. Image Rights
No photograph received for the exhibition will be presented in facebook or other social networks by the organization, Partners or Sponsors before, during or after the contest and exhibition without the express permission of the owner.
The selected photos will be printed and displayed at the exhibition with the author's name and the logos of the organization and Partners.
Printed non-winning photographs may be collected by the authors at the end of the exhibition according to the inscription. Those that are not collected will become the property of the Organization, who may transfer them unchanged for exhibition by the sponsors or other more permanent exhibition. In either cases, they shall not be used for economic exploitation.
The organization, Partners and Sponsors of the exhibition can make use of the participant pictures before, during and after the event, for the promotion and dissemination of the competition and exposure, and (with the exception of the voting phase of the contest ), quoting the author's name.
11.Privacy

12. Release and Limitations of Liability
The Organization accepts no legal responsibility for the pictures and content.
The Organization disclaims all liability for damages of any kind that may result from the temporary lack of availability or continuity of the Web by which we participate in the promotion, and in particular, though not exclusively, to failures in access to different pages and share answers shipments via the Internet. The organization reserves the right to remove promotion for cause to any user who defrauds, alters or impairs the proper functioning and normal and mandatory operation of the same. Similarly, the organization reserves the right to shorten, extend, modify and / or terminate this contest, in whole or in any stage, if deemed appropriate or if so were exceptional circumstances that would prevent their realization.
This is not an open platform for complaints, inquiries or complaints channel.
In any event the organizers and sponsors are not responsible for the comments, statements or representations that may be published or disseminated through this channel, by persons outside the organization and sponsors and become reserves the right to initiate proceedings law court that assist it in its case and defend their rights.
The Organization has the power to decide on the contingency that may arise and which have not been reflected in these rules.
